Volunteer Ex-Offender Mentoring Opportunities

Have you got what it takes to support vulnerable people in the local area?

Aspire is looking for enthusiastic and like-minded people who have time to spare, and would like to work with others to support and mentor ex-offenders in Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Reading and Slough on a voluntary basis.

Our aim is to meet clients - either in person, or virtually - to address the underlying causes of their offending behaviours and engage them to restore their self-worth, through the learning of new skills, rebuilding confidence, support with writing CVs and improving interview skills with a view to attaining education, training, apprenticeship, or employment.

If you are interested in getting involved in Reading and Slough, please email Tracy Harrison or call 07395 791494.

For Aylesbury or High Wycombe, please email Claire Sly or call 0770 4551284.

Volunteer drivers: Community Transport

Our Community Transport service is a lifeline in supporting isolated elderly people to be able to go out on shopping and social trips. Without this service, 58% of our customers would not be able to leave their homes. We are looking for volunteer drivers to help run this vital service. D1 Licence would be an advantage but is not essential.

For more information please contact Ian Adshead on 01865 204450.

If you're interested in volunteering with Aspire in a capacity not currently listed here, visit our volunteering page to register your interest, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
