Aspire Enterprise Services Ltd

A leading social enterprise providing professional services across Oxfordshire and the Thames Valley, with social impact built in

Have you considered a role in the Adult Social Care sector?

Working in adult social care is not just an emotionally rewarding role with the opportunity to make a difference to people’s lives, it is one of the most varied too - no two days are the same!

Aspire Oxford has been commissioned by Oxford County Council to support care providers across Oxfordshire with their recruitment needs. Hire2inspire will be working closely with both employers and candidates to match appropriately, ensuring we meet your career aspirations.

There are a variety of different roles available, and hours are flexible to fit around you. You do not necessarily need specific qualifications as training will be provided, what is most important is having the right values, behaviours and attitudes to work with those who need care and support.

Opportunities include:

  • Care Worker
  • Activities Worker
  • Personal Assistant
  • Office Administrator
  • Housekeeper

Those working in the care sector need to show dignity and respect, be warm and empathetic, be able to work as part of a team and be committed to providing high quality support. You will also need a good standard of English, numeracy and digital skills, and attention to detail.

Adult Social Care Opportunities

Adult Social Care Workshops

We're holding informational sessions about the Adult Social Care sector which include details about the type of roles you could do, the work settings, myth busting, who you could be supporting, the importance of having the right values, the types of questions you may be asked at interview and what we, at Aspire, can do for you! The sessions will also include an activity to help you explore your understanding and experience of care that you could show to an employer.

Find out more about the next session in September

You can build your skills with on-the-job training and there are lots of opportunities to progress. Contact Natalie for more information about the training, opportunities and workshops available.
