Trustee

We're seeking a new trustee for the Aspire Board, to help us sustain and develop our increasing responsibilities for governing our charity effectively by bringing a new set of skills and experiences to our Board and organisation.

While we welcome general applications, we are particularly keen for this vacancy to hear from individuals:

- With operational / senior management experience of managing social or supported housing, being a passionate advocate for housing justice

- With operational / senior management experience of inclusive recruitment or employment development programmes.

Fundraising Officer (Part-Time)

We're excited to announce that we have a new opportunity for an experienced Fundraising Officer to join our small and dynamic Fundraising team. This post offers an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to apply their fundraising skills and knowledge, to transform the accessibility of personalised support and secure housing in Oxfordshire for people facing disadvantage, marginalisation, isolation and homelessness in our local community today.

This role has oversight of the community, events and individual giving programmes, and the right candidate will have a proven track record of fundraising, achieving high standards and growing fundraising income.

You will have a significant impact on developing our community-based fundraising activities, creating and accessing exciting and meaningful opportunities to engage individuals, schools and organisations through both face-to-face and virtual means, prioritising donor retention, community building, and ensuring fundraisers are cultivated, stewarded and thanked.

Employment & Development Support Worker ('Get Connected' project) [Part-Time]

We're looking for a part-time Employment & Development Support Worker to join our 'Get Connected' project, working in close partnership with Turning Point and the Aspire ETE (Education, Training & Employment) team. In this role, the postholder will maintain an up to date knowledge of both internal and external opportunities and activities, linking into Aspire’s Social Prescribing project and training courses to connect Turning Point clients to opportunities and activities that will support them in their recovery and into sustained employment.

You will  work in the central Oxford Turning Point satellite hub delivering employment and education support for 2 days a week. This role is an exciting opportunity to use your initiative and create new opportunities that meet the needs of your clients.

Applicants with ‘lived experience’ of a barrier to employment such as poor mental wellbeing, homelessness, drug or alcohol addiction, are strongly encouraged to apply.

Candidate Resourcer and Refugee Employment, Training and Education Support Worker [Full-Time]

We're seeking a full-time Candidate Resourcer and Refugee Employment, Training and Education Support Worker to strengthen our Employment team and help us to create Inclusive Recruitment pathways with Oxfordshire employers. The postholder will be responsible for promoting the benefits of Inclusive Recruitment and for matching clients who are ‘work ready’ to vacancies listed with inclusive employers we support in the county.

The role will work alongside the Aspire Education, Training and Employment team to deliver an inclusive recruitment service with a focus on recruitment as well as to support and advise the organisation on trends and needs of local employers in relation to the needs of our diverse client groups. The postholder will work closely with our employment team and colleagues to identify employment opportunities, including managing the database of engaged employers, and will also provide dedicated employment, training and education support to a caseload of refugee and asylum seeker clients addressing barriers with an understanding of their unique issues and complexities.
